Pixels
Pixels are the basic currency of Starbound and are used for a variety of things. The first of which you come across being the pixel printer on your ship. Upon dieing, the player will lose some pixels.
Uses[]
- Scanning an item into the pixel printer's database.
- Crafting an item from the pixel printer that is in its database.
Obtaining[]
- Breaking capsules found on a plannet.
- Killing alien life forms with anything except the hunting bow may result in pixels.
