The Hunting Bow is the player's first ranged weapon, made of Plant Fibers and Unrefined Wood.

The Hunting Bow is a weak ranged weapon and is one of your first weapons you craft, although unfavorable in actual combat. However, it has unlimited ammunition, and provides Leather and Alien Meat from slain enemies. The range and damage can be adjusted by how long the left mouse button is held. Once the string is as taught as it can get, the bow glows white briefly as an indicator to the player.
If you hold the left mouse button until the bow starts blinking, and then release it, the bow will shoot a blue arrow which deals more damage
