The Player is the entity that represents the person that plays the game, which is to say -- you. The Player is approximately 6 feet tall, similar to average height in the western world today.
The Player must be one of the six playable races: Humans, Apex, Avians, Floran, Hylotl or Glitch. Race will not affect player stats, but will change the visual representation of the character and objects they craft, along with the basic armor tier.[1]
Customization[]
Many of the Player's characteristics can be altered, judging from what has been released, including his/her clothes, hair, and stance, among others. A reproduction of the character creator has been added to the forums (forum account required). It has been confirmed by Chucklefish that there will be more options in the in-game character editor.
